Ken Baker is Principal of Enterprise Risk Consulting in Edmonton. He also serves as Risk Management Specialist for Alberta Pensions Services Corp. Previously he was Corporate Manager, Enterprise Risk Management for the City of Edmonton.
Ken currently volunteers as Treasurer of the Northern Alberta chapter (NARIMS). He has also served as Finance Chair of the 2019 RIMS Canada Conference, and as a member of the RIMS Finance committee.
A graduate of the University of Alberta School of Business, Ken is also a Chartered Professional Accountant. He has held finance and accounting positions in the manufacturing, processing, entertainment, finance, and insurance industries in Canada and in Europe, before being introduced to ERM in his role as Controller of the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (now Alberta Municipalities).
