Welcome to the NARIMS Website

The Northern Alberta Risk and Insurance Management Society (NARIMS) membership includes risk and insurance management professionals from a broad range of industries (both public and private sector). Our membership covers the largest geographical area of any RIMS chapter with members in northern Alberta, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

NARIMS sessions will resume in October. Thank you all for your participation this year and we hope this year’s sessions added to your knowledge base. Please let us know if you or anyone you know has ideas of session topics for next term or better yet, if you or anyone you know is interested in participating on the Program sub-committee, we would love to have you! Either way, please send  Kelly Cornelius an email. The Program sub-committee will be meeting before the end of June for a planning session. Have a great summer and we look forward to seeing you in the fall!

The RIMS 2010 Western Regional Conference is being held from September 14 - 17 in Bend, Oregon. Click here for conference and registration details.  Early bird registration ends August 6th. 

NARIMS/McGannon Foundation Pre-Conference Golf Tournament - Save the date for Friday September 24, 2010 at the Cougar Creek Golf Resort.  Transportation to the course will be provided.  Shotgun start at 9:00 am (breakfast at 8:00 am). Registration and further details will be on the RIMS Canada conference website and the McGannon Foundation website at a later date.
